When can we walk on the new concrete that has been poured?

A: within one to two days

Why does the mortar appear uneven in color on our new stucco?

A: it takes approximately 7 days for the mortar to fully cure. It takes concrete 30 days to cure.

Do we need a railing on our new steps.

A: anything over two steps in a row requires a railing

What kind of warranty do you offer?

A: all masonry work carries a lifetime warranty against settling or cracking.

Do we have a choice in material for our new steps?

A: yes. We can build the steps using brick, concrete, or natural stone and often a combination of materials.

Do we have a choice in material for our new patio and walkwaydesign?

A: yes. We can build patios out of concrete, pavers, or natural stone.

Is there a difference in price whether we use pavers or natural stone?

A: yes. Pavers are more economical and natural stone is more expensive, depending on what type of natural stone you choose.

Do we have a choice of different natural stone to use for our newly designed walkway, patioor steps?

A: yes. We offer approximately 12 different types of natural stone you can choose from.

What about water sitting against our foundation when we build our new patio?

A: the base of your patio is pitched away from the house so the water will flow away from the house, not towards it. We also install French drains when water is a concern and waterproof foundations and basements

Should we seal our new masonry structures?

A: sealing is a good idea. More specifically, we waterproof masonry structures to minimize any damage that can occur during the colder months and the freeze/thaw cycle.

Do you build retaining walls?

A: yes. We have been constructing retaining walls for over 20 years and depending on the height of the wall, we can use ornamental concrete block or natural stone.

Do you offer designs for our new patio ideas?

A: yes. We offer a sketch of the ideas you have and we collaborate onideas that are then used to render a 3-D computer image of your finished patio.
